When the time comes that we move to a drier/warmer place, I will miss the fall. It's one of my favorite seasons, and not just because my birthday happens then :-}

the only good thing about fall is the birthdays of *friends* and sort-of family, and Samhain. The weather is depressing, and the constant reminder that the nasty white stuff and cold are closing in day by day is just too overwhelming... Can't help it, Seasonal Depression is real. Plus, the nasty winter brings my nasty birthday, which means trying to get my license and plates renewed in time, and this year with no job the whole idea of Christmas/Yule is just not a happy thought. Yes I am getting into a Deep Blue Funk. If only we could have the pretty leaf colors without the impending winter, I could be happy with that!

Just because it's warm and pretty here in So. Cal. doesn't mean there are no Autumn leaves to see - I have three Japanese maples in my yard, called "Liquid Amber", and they turn color and drop leaves just fine! B*B, Ysabeau
