Day 1: Weight Watchers Initiated

I started weight watchers again today. It was the best vehicle for weight loss for me in the past. I was delighted to find more chair-bound exercise options listed under the activities points compared to a few years ago. It is still not perfect (it doesn't list upper body ergonometer machine workouts for example, which is my most-used exercise source) but much better than it was last time I tried. That was not the primary reason I stopped (that was financial) but emotionally, not having chair-bound options available was one more thing to overcome on an already difficult journey.
Now many of the pre-loaded points-generating activities are things like arm movements, small-scale leg movements, and even T'ai Chi (which is very adaptable to chair work) I feel more welcomed. So, this is the beginning! Glancing at my available points for each day, like the past my biggest challenge is going to be eating enough to make it over my points allowance. After a month or so as I lose weight, that will normalize :-}

I've been on Weight Watchers for years. Love it. Have you looked into chair yoga?

I just joined Weight Watchers online on Feb. 1. I've never tried it before. It's exciting!
