Oscar has the lovely habit in late winter of picking up planted spring bulbs when he does the weekly grocery shopping. Today, the daffodils and crocus are in bloom. I am delighted. It is cold, windy and snowy outside, but on our windowsill, it is Spring.

Yay, Oscar!!! My dh brought home yellow and red cut tulips for Valentine's Day table, and they are almost gone, maybe one more day for them in the vase.

Believe it or not, we had 3 inches of snow on nearby mountains! Very rare!
