Whew! Sample Done and a Bit of Catch Up

I finished the knitting on a sample for a new pattern last night.
No photos, the camera seems to be missing. The photo on the right is suggestive of the sample I just finished, but isn't it LOL.
I am pleased with how it turned out, but it is not in my size. I need to excavate Zelda the dressmakers dummy to really get a good look at it and be certain it doesn't need more length.
It also needs a bit of blocking and the ends woven in but that can wait. I have been working on it since about a year ago.
It is in a different palette of colors for me, earthy greens, grays and blues.
Here at the new place it is best if I only have one or two projects out at a time. Until my new studio is set up it makes it a bit awkward but the end goal is to have all but the item in my hands in the studio, not the living room. (I enjoy crafting while watching TV.)
Last night after I finished the sample I tried just watching TV without anything else going on; no crafting, no computering. It felt very odd. I had no idea I was so used to multi tasking when watching the tube.
I have started watching Face Off. It is fascinating stuff! I have also been watching cooking shows, some ghosty shows and Warehouse 13.

Today I will have another crafting project in hand when watching television.
I have a shawl I am making as part of a knit along but only have a few more rows to complete in this week's installment.
I am also working on a sweater designed by Anne Hanson but the needles are small enough I can't work on it for long periods of time.
I think I'll add a crochet project, perhaps a hat for Wool-Aid. I am filling a small box to ship out next month but only have that big read and green sweater and a pair of socks so far.
I have been submitting about two book reviews a week, which is not quite fast enough to suit me but better than before we moved. I have two more in process and a few books I am in the middle of reading. I need to get better about blogging about and linking to my finished reviews. As of yesterday, I have had 270 reviews published!
(I need to find that camera! The photos on the blog recently are all ones I've shared in the past.)

Wow! You don't waste any time keeping busy. As long as you're having fun.

I can't sit still long enought to watch any tv but sports without knitting. And sports are easier to watch while knitting as well ... This comes from a woman who broke her hand punching something over a football game...
