My friend for whom I am making a hat called yesterday. Her long-time partner died suddenly in their home. Any prayers and support sent the way of her and their children are welcomed.

- I am first of all a curious person who enjoys learning new things, and re-learning old ones particularly ancient crafts. I have been disabled for about 10 years now, each year the arthritis thing impacts my abilities more. I am so grateful for my electric wheelchair as ti means I can go on dates again with my beloved Oscar (we will celebrating our 10th anniversary this summer). We are currently starting the process of finding and moving into an accessible home, in conjunction with Oscar finding a new job. I am also a writer (mostly of book reviews) and a knitwear designer. But mostly I am curious.
