A year ago, my niece Amanda had a little girl, Ari. This past Friday Oscar and I were able to meet them at the airport before they left for points south (He and I were ill and could not go to the family gathering the weekend before). I was able to give Ari a toy I knitted, and have some high quality hugs from Amanda and Ari as well as to meet Ari's dad, Daniel. (He is a sharp dresser with kind eyes).
Now I have a strong urge to design, or at least knit some pretty little cotton tops for a certain toddler :-}

Oh, they're both so cute! And that toy is waiting to shake hands and be friends with everybody. I'm so glad you got to see them!

Cute! Adorable! Both of them.
Hope you don't mind a belated comment. Looks to me like you've won a little girl's heart. And that handknit toy is so great, smiling just like Ari! Love this photo.
