Visiting

We're going to spend most of the day visiting my parents. They live about 90 minutes away, but what with illnesses and that amount of travel needing a week's recovery time (on my part), we haven't seen them for several months. Mom says she's making standing rib roast with potatoes, carrots etc.
In the mean time, more random color.

Beautiful color in your photographs. We need it! In particular, your quilt is special! Have a wonderful day with your folks. How I love a standing rib roast--that's what we have for Christmas dinner!

I thought at first the first one was crabs. Nature has a wonderful sense of humor! Not to mention connectedness.

Diana, How wonderful that you can be with your folks. I hope your recovery time is less than expected. The first flower is a new one to me. I do not recall seeing it before. Enjoy the coolness of the air and the brightness of the season.

I have a Carolina spicebush in my garden, too! Not only interesting-looking, but it smells great, too! :-)
