Happy vacation from work day :-}We aren't having a big feast or anything, but we are enjoying spending the day together. Yesterday we watched Hopscotch (Walter Matthau, Glenda Jackson and a young Sam Waterston) and Ice Age.
Since I am home all the time and can watch whatever I want to, when Oscar has time off, he gets to choose the movies we watch, most of the time (I am waiting to introduce him to the movie ffolkes, aka North Sea Hijack with Roger Moore, James Mason and Anthony Perkins).
I am feeling much better this week, only a bare hint of the flu symptoms (a bit of cough of a morning).
My yarn for the samples didn't arrive, so I will be focusing on Christmas/Yule knitting today.
I'm having trouble deciding what yarn to cast on... I got a small shipment of malabrigo Worsted this week.
I ALSO got a wonderful surprise. I'd ordered a little yarn and a pattern from Lynn, and she stuck some extras in the envelope for me as a gift :-} So maybe I'll wind some yarn into balls by hand, That is always very soothing, and a great way to get a color and fiber fix without needing much brain.
I LOVE the pink/purple she sent, I think it will become a shawl for me.
