Pond

One of the more peaceful places in the conservatory is right inside the entrance. There is a lovely koi pond, with a bench close enough to watch the ripples, yet out of main path.
It would be fun to sit there and watch winter weary expressions relax into warmth.
It was bathed in sunshine when we were there, early afternoon.
All around the outside there were places where mosses were encouraged to grow.
Once in a while a koi jumped up hoping to snare some unwary bug. (If you look carefully, you can see a small orange koi in the upper left of the photo below)
