Shawly But Not For me

Lynn is celebrating International Selfish Knitting Month. The premise is so many of us knit for others in the last quarter of the year, that by the time January arrives it's definitely time to knit something for ourselves. Well, I'm not done knitting for family, but I decided to join in anyway.
I started with some pretty Noro Kujaku yarn Lynn gave me. Then I found the Graceful Shawl Pattern. It was a fun knit, but didn't turn out to be for me after all. For a smaller person with more neck the pattern would be fine, for me, with my 'widow's hump' it just didn't flow right to sit comfortably without slipping. Someone from the Disabled Pagans list I'm on will be gifted with it. (pulling the name out of a hat tonight!)

Gorgeous, what yarn is that? I should be so lucky to be on your gift list. Happy New Year, dear.

Leslie, it's a combination of purple/blue kidsilk mohair and Noro Kujaku

The yarn is so pretty that I would have been temped to take it all out and start over. You are so giving that someone else will be the lucky one. I am so glad you enjoy knitting.
