New Job

I write. Not as much as I should, but I am a writer.
I have been a member of Romance Writers of America, and of it's online chapter for a bit over three years now.
This year, I was flattered to be nominated to run for a position on the chapter board. I didn't win, but it was great to be asked. Then another opportunity came up, even more suited to my interests. I am now a co-editor of the online chapter's bi-monthly magazine, "Love-Bytes". I used to work for a newspaper (doing obits, announcements, and an occasional article) and have worked as a consultant putting together a business newsletter back when Pagemaker was cutting edge, so I feel comfortable with this task.
I have a meeting at 1 p.m. my time with the other two people working on 'Love-Bytes'. One lives in Europe, the other one time zone over from me. Because of technology, even though I am 'home bound' I am able to have a vital and exciting life. I love technology. And I love Oscar. Without Oscar, whose job and skills keep us connected to the internet, I wouldn't have such terrific access to the world.

Oh, how wonderful. Enjoy getting back in the swing of writing again. I know you will enjoy it. Yes, I agree, Oscar is a good, good guy.
