I wanted to write it with the beginning knitter in mind, and have gone over the directions making them as clear, concise and detailed as I could.
Plus, it's a fun knit, so making the samples for photos was a joy.
Even more of a joy was working again with Patternfish. These folks are amazing. Their site is set up so that, when you buy a pattern from them, if there is ever an update to that pattern in the future, you AUTOMATICALLY have it available to you in your purchased pattern library there. And the people are friendly and warm, with great humor, patience and understanding.
The pattern is also available in my etsy store, HERE
Without further ado, (or a-don't for that matter) here's a teaser:
Awe your friends, shock your families by gifting them with this complex-looking (but simple-to-knit) winged-cable hat.
You can make any or all of the five sizes I’ve included (infant up to XXL) for those you love.
My detailed instructions are written with the beginning knitter in mind, and include a separate pattern for using just one yarn.
Variation ideas also given in this five-page PDF with many photos.

I was all set to say what a fabulous picture, and then I scroll down and there's Sean Elijah, totally stealing the show.
Yeah, he's a cutie !
The design is a winner, and I love the photo with pumpkins and my beloved brother.
Nice job.

If that is not a Viking, I do not know what Vikings look like!
