In conjunction with that, I am having a contest/drawing!
Nope, no new pattern of mine there this time, but there ARE 24 patterns in this issue (two of them free!) along with quality articles and reviews... and the cover!!!. Please, go look at the adorable model they found for the Fall 2010 cover!
One article I am finding of particular use is "Choose It and Use It: Sweater Yarn" by Nicole Feller-Johnson... and another I will savor with my afternoon tea is the interview with Cat Bordhi! I am a huge fan of her offbeat look at knitting and her patterns that go beyond the basics to realms never dreamt by others.
So, back to the contest. Just leave a comment in any or all posts from today through this Saturday (August 7th) and you will be placed in a drawing to win a pdf of patterns from the Fall 2010 issue PLUS your choice of any 5 of my own Otterwise patterns. If for some reason you can not post, you may enter by emailing me at ottergal AT comcast DOT net.

That's quite a lot of patterns! Here's to hoping the farm internet gets fixed soon- driving twenty minutes to the library kind of puts a crimp in my commenting capabilities.
Pick me...I'm new to knitting and love challenging patterns.
Wow! There are so many patterns that I would like to try from this issue; the De-Lovely cabled fingerless mitts are gorgeous, and the adorable little boy on the cover just steals your heart. I also like the tutorial on how to make knitting charts. Thanks for the contest!
i was looking at my issue of Knitcircus today. Some lovely items I would love to try. Thank for this opportunity.
So many lovely patterns. I have a Knitcircus subscription on my anniversary and b-day lists!
Thanks for sharing this. There were some wonderful designs and articles. I was very interested in the article on using word to create charts. I could have used this this weekend when I was charting out a sock with pencil and graph paper. I will be giving this a go to make my life easier. Thanks again!!
I've been so lucky as a contest winner in the past that I'm going to disqualify myself due to my overwhelming good fortune. BTW, did you see the lovely cardi I finished with the soy yarn? And I bought a different color of noro and plan to knit the lovely elijah hat with two colors--when I eventually finish the items on the needles.
This looks like another great issue!
Love Knitcircus! And I would love to win!
Soo many great patterns in this issue. I agree - I really liked the choosing sweater yarn article.
I love Knitcircus. Thanks for the great contest!
Really great patterns -- and the articles look interesting and relevant, too! Thanks for the link. (And the little "cover-boy" is just. too. adorable.)
I'd love to be entered, I've already bought the latest issue, but I have a friend who'd love it!
I checked it out and there are some really awesome patterns! I'll have to go back and read the articles when my little ones are down for their nap!
Love this issue. I'm about to make a sweater for my son so the article on sweater yarn is great!
I wanna win, too! Always a great read and wonderful patterns!
Wonderful giveaway opportunity! I'd love to enter
